Guests often appreciate the spacious and nicely decorated rooms, many offering lovely views of Glasgow Cathedral. The comfortable beds and excellent showers are frequently mentioned, along with the convenient amenities like coffee and tea. While some guests have found certain rooms, particularly the loft rooms, to be on the smaller side, the location near the cathedral and parks is generally considered very nice. the on-site Italian restaurant with its patio on the ground floor is a highlight, with some guests noting its Michelin guide recognition and good value for money.

Fantastic Stay!

fresh dishcathedral viewgorgeous bathroomroom service
The food was AMAZING!!! Every dish at the restaurant tasted fresh, and the server provided quick service. The loft room was super clean. I appreciated the view of the cathedral from it. I especially enjoyed the gorgeous bathroom, equipped with a rolltop bathtub, a true luxury. The breakfast was delivered to my room each morning.
The stairs were slippery, and the bottom stairs could use a carpet for more safety. It was a minor inconvenience.

Inconvenient Stairs and Kitchen Odor

fresh fruitsteep stairskitchen odor
The room included fresh fruit and snacks. That was acceptable.
The stairs were a hassle. I almost tripped while carrying my luggage. I could also smell strong cooking odors coming from the restaurant kitchen below. The smell actually, so I couldn't sleep easily.

Excellent stay near the cathedral

spacious roomrestaurant dinneryogurt breakfast
The room was spacious and well-decorated. Coffee and tea were provided, which i appreciated. Breakfast arrived at my door. It included pastries and yogurt, which i thought was a nice touch. The dinner at the restaurant downstairs was excellent.
The stairs could be slippery. Carpet or non-slip flooring would be safer on the bottom steps.
Dining
9/10
I found the Italian restaurant on the ground floor to be quite busy. The restaurant also features a patio. Guests and kitchen staff use some of the same access points and stairs. I thought this was interesting.

The staff offered assistance with my luggage upon arrival. They took all three suitcases up to my room. My room included instructions in case I needed help. Check-in was online. I only needed my room key. A staff member greeted me warmly with 'welcome'. They gave me directions to my room. The Italian restaurant has a patio. It is located on the ground floor.
The stairs were slippery. Some bottom stairs needed carpet.
